Must-attend tech media relations event

TechLeaders is the premier networking and education event for technology vendors who communicate with the IT media sector. If you work with the tech media in Australia and New Zealand, you've got to be at this event.

About TechLeaders

Connecting technology journalists to solid data, and vendors to news outlets, TechLeaders accelerates and amplifies interactions.

Held over two days, the event provides a framework for knowledge sharing and interaction amongst analysts, government speakers, journalists and key industry leaders.

For Vendors

All our vendors will receive access to all streams, events and activities.

With only 4 vendors within each session stream, places are strictly limited.

Key Inclusions (Presentation streams):

  • Presentation at one of the three streams, including solo stage presentation (5-10 mins approx)

  • Collective table “speed dating” Q & A with assembled journalists (50 minutes total time)

  • One on ones with x 4 journalists (10-15 minutes each approx)

  • Overnight rooming including meals and accommodation for 2 attendees

Presentations

Company spokespeople will speak for 5 minutes on topics that see will be important during the year ahead. It's a great opportunity to bring a certain issue or market to the attention of the technology media. More so, this is a great chance for a spokesperson to demonstrate they are a genuine authority on their market, so that journalists will be likely to make contact in the future when they're looking for quotes or information on relevant topics.

The Round Tables

After all of the presentations in any particular session, the presenters will move onto the floor where they will take turn sitting with groups of up to eight journalists. This is a terrific opportunity to meet, shake hands and swap cards with all of the attending journalists and go deeper into your chosen topic. However, it is also an unparalleled opportunity to get feedback on your messaging and understand how likely your ideas and strategies are likely to work with the tech media.

One-on-one Interviews

We poll all delegates the week prior to the event, as to who they would like to meet with for interviews and develop a schedule that ensures each participating company participates in all one-on-one interviews. Go deeper with the journalists that are most connected to the market that you work in. Build great relationships going forward and provide content that often results in immediate editorial coverage.

Social events

One of the reasons TechLeaders has been such a success is that it is an event that not only achieves a lot of professional outcomes by day, but we pride ourselves on throwing great parties in the evening. This helps everyone to get to know each other better and build real, lasting relationships.
