Tech Leaders 2015 Launched

MediaConnect’s Tech Leaders conference (formerly Kickstart Forum) will be held over two days at the Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains on February 22 and 23, 2015.

Next year’s event has been streamlined to make it even more time-effective for both the 40+ media and influencers, as well as the presenting executives and newsmakers, said MediaConnect CEO Phil Sim.

“Each year it seems that everyone in our business becomes increasingly time-poor, so this year we’ve focused on making the event as accessible and practical as possible,” Sim said.

Re-branded last year as Tech Leaders, in recognition of the conference’s increasing visibility as a news-generating event, the event retains all of its core, successful elements including the influential keynotes, presentations and round-tables, one-on-one interviews and the popular networking dinner.

New to this year’s program will be a Start-up lunch, which will give five start-ups the opportunity to present to the assembled media, executives as well as a panel of investors and start-up experts.

“The media has a voracious appetite for start-up stories right now, and if we can help connect them with emerging Australian tech businesses that’s a great outcome for everyone,” said Sim.

Technology businesses can secure their spot at Tech Leaders 2015, or find out more about the event by contacting Mike Woodcock on (02) 9894 6277 or mike@mediaconnect.com.au.
